What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a 200 year old science which, when practiced by a properly trained homeopathic physician, can lead to incredible healing results. Homeopaths use medicines created from herbs, minerals, or animals to stimulate the vital force and provoke a patient’s natural healing response. A homeopathic physician is a fully trained medical professional (often an MD, ND, or DO) in addition to having several years of homeopathic training.
How Does Homeopathy Work?
Homeopathic medicines are formed by successive dilutions of various natural substances. Just as the tiniest dose of a hormone can make huge changes in the body, these “nano doses” of medicinal substance have far-reaching effects on physical, mental, and emotional wellness.
There are many theories as to why homeopathy is so effective. These range from ideas as complex as nanopharmacology to the simple creation of a healing relationship between patient and provider. Regardless of why homeopathy works, it has helped thousands of people achieve lasting improvements in their physical and emotional well being.
The Intake
A homeopathic intake is different from a standard medical intake. In a homeopathic intake, I will ask you a wide range of questions to get a better idea of you as a whole person. In addition to asking you in great detail about your physical symptoms, I’ll try to understand your emotional life and how you see the world.
Initial Homeopathic intakes can last 2 hours.
